Are you looking to go green with your wedding theme, then check out our Monstera Wedding. I love the Monstera Leaf...Did you know that Monstera deliciosa is a creeping vine native to tropical rain forests from southern Mexico south to Panama. It has a thick stem growing up to 20 m height and large, leathery, glossy, heart-shaped leaves. It is also called Ceriman, Swiss Cheese Plant (or just Cheese Plant) (WIKI)
Hey! if your budget doesn't allow for a Monstera (or you have NO BUDGET! as someone said to me) then a good ole breadfruit leaf will do.

Requesting Money As A Wedding Gift
A couple asked recently what was a nice way to ask for cash as a wedding gift.
Requesting money as a wedding gift is one of the most challenging etiquette issue couples continue to face as they plan their weddings.
So what's the nice way to ask for money instead of getting registered somewhere.
In our wedding invitations Ralph and I sent out this little poem I found online, just like us it was honest and to the point:
"Because at first we lived in sin
We've got the sheets and a rubbish bin
A gift from you would be swell
But we'd prefer a donation to our Wishing Well!!"

Time For A Little Inspiration
DIY Orchid Centrepiece
Cymbidium Orchids are my favourite Orchids, so I had to share this centrepiece idea.
If you haven't decided on a centrepiece and you've got a garden themed wedding, then this project might just be the thing that keeps you in budget.
Did you know.....The name Cymbidium is derived from the Greek word kumbos, meaning 'hole, cavity'. And that Cymbidium hookerianum is considered a delicacy in Bhutan where it is traditionally cooked in a spicy curry or stew and called "olatshe" or "olachoto".
(WIKI)
DIY Cymbidium Monstera Leaf Centrepiece
Ingredients
1. white lotus bowl
2. 1 monstera leaf
3. 1/2 block lime green Oasis foam
4. 3 green cymbidium
5. #726 Flat White Design Master
6. #790 Olive Bright Design Master
7. cardboard disc
8. Oasis floral adhesive
9. green chenille stem
Steps
1. Spray large leaf completely with Flat White Design Master. For lacquered-look, you will need 3 coats. It's better to do several light coats on a fresh leaf.
2. Next, place foam in bowl and cut flush to top of bowl.
3. Take cardboard disc and paint both sides with Olive Bright Design Master.
4. Punch 2 holes in center of disc.
5. Take chenille and bend in half. Thread chenille through the 2 holes.
6. Construct composite flower using petals of 2 orchids --- place orchid "throats" to the side.
7. Place remaining orchid in center of composite petals and adhere with Oasis Floral Adhesive.
8. Then attach extra "throats" to center of flower.
9. "Landscape" the monstera leaf by laying it across the top of the wet foam.
10. Place the composite cymbidium onto the leaf and pierce the leaf with ends
of the chenille stem to insert into foam.
