Chuppah Floral Design....please don't try this at home!

So what's a chuppah you say.........Well a chuppah (also spelled hupah, chupah, or chuppa - plural: chuppot or chuppahs, Hebrew: חוּפּוֹת) is the wedding canopy under which a marriage ceremony is conducted traditionally used in Jewish weddings

I found these images of chuppah decor and just had to share. If you aren't.... I always suggest using a professional floral designer if it's the true WOW! factor you desire.... cause there chuppah's and then THERE ARE CHUPPAH'S!!!!!!!

Please don't try this at home, leave it to the professionals

Sanojah's rescued my wedding!

Sanojah's rescued my wedding. That may seem like a dramatic statement but it is the simple truth. We stumbled upon the company quite by accident after our original venue closed suddenly and left us in a quandry. We were shopping around and heard about Golden Grove from a friend of ours who put us on to Ralph and LeeAnne. Although, we realized that Golden Grove was not the place where we wanted to get married, Ralph was willing to work with us and introduced us to Orchid World. It was love at first sight. After that first meeting on the deck at Orchid World I knew we had nothing more to worry about.

Ralph and Lee-Anne were more than helpful. They took us through everything from linens to rentals and were always available to answer any question that popped into our minds. In the end, I truly believe that because of them we had a wedding that exceeded our dreams. I can look back on my photos and smile knowing that everything was beautiful. I would recommend Orchid world to anyone looking for a beautiful garden wedding, our guests enjoyed perusing the grounds during the cocktail hour and I enjoyed the beautiful setting for one of most memorable evenings of my life.

Sanojah's also helped us find a honeymoon spot at Golden Grove. The secluded plantation house made an ideal getaway for us and I have fond memories of dressing there with my bridesmaids and my mother before the wedding.

I would recommend Sanojah's to anyone planning a wedding. The service was excellent. If I had to do it all again, the only thing I would have changed, is that we would have gone to them first.

Best regards,
Andrea and Darren

Lee's Favorite Finds

I've always had thick hair which is prone to dryness depending on the harshness of the weather. I found the Phyto line at PureSource

Phyto's story began 60 years ago in the countryside of Southern France. Legendary hair stylist, Patrick Alès, had a vision of creating plant-based haircare products using environmentally conscious methods. By harnessing the power of plants and testing numerous formulas in his own salon, he developed what is now a world-renowned haircare line. His extensive range of treatments and styling products target all hair types, providing complete protection with botanical remedies. Eco-friendly packaging for each product is Phyto's winning, finishing touch.
It's dry hair formula is made of pure jojoba oil and angelica root extract replenishes lost moisture while invigorating South African sweet orange oil purifies and revitalizes. Hair is left feeling silky smooth and shiny, making Phytojoba products perfect for those with dry, brittle, or thick hair.

Natasha, or Orchid World's 1st Marquee Bride as I like to call her.....had some great ideas, one of which was a personalized 3 pc. Unity Sand Ceremony set which consisted of (1) 4 1/2" tall 8oz. center vase which has a cork stopper and is decorated with a silver double heart charm and is attached with a raffia tie. Plus (2) 3 1/2" tall 4oz pouring vases. Designs by Etch Art available from Amazon offers free etching which includes names and date of the event on the center vase plus a name on each of the pouring vases. Their "Signature" etching is created freehand by our talented Calligraphy artists and is the only style of etching available.

This summer my dad discovered his bread man machine....yup that bad boi has been on the kitchen cupboard for 3 years... NEVER USED! So this one is really his favorite find. Not to mention the amount of dough he's saved making great loaves (I've affectionately named THE BIG ASS BREAD)....like cinnamon raisin, molasses bran and carrot raisin. Keep um coming papa.

The Great Candy Buffet

1. Start with a theme, in this case, nostalgic candies. You can choose color combination that match the decor of your celebration or go with a theme such as candies from your childhood.
2. Explore your cupboards, borrow vases and dishes . I scored these great salad bowls from Do it Best for only $40.00!
3. Find candy in your color scheme.
4. I converted bar scoops to candy scoopers.
5. Provide small paper bags with labels (optional), twist ties or ribbons and a small sign inviting your guest to select their favorite sweets to take home.
