Orchid World is located in Groves, St.George, Barbados. Overlooking the center of the island, it is home to over 30,000 orchid plants, and playground for the Barbadian Green Monkeys, Antillean Crested Hummingbirds as well as the Green and Purple-throated Carib Hummingbirds.
Featured on Wedding TV's "focus on Barbados"(www.weddingtv.com), Orchid World boasts of being the only Orchid garden in Barbados able to match any brides' color palette.
Wedding ceremonies are usually held by the gazebo and receptions in the restaurant which seats one hundred and six dinner guests and one hundred and seventy-five guests for cocktail parties.
