Planning a sensible successful wedding is based on lots of things. Money, and Numbers are often the major deciding factor for most couples when planning the biggest party of their lives. When considering the size of your wedding pay special attention to these commonsense tips.

LOCATION
When considering a venue for your wedding make note on the maximum guest the location can accommodate. If you are considering an outdoor reception then the general rule for choosing a Tent or Marquee is to allow 13 square feet per person.

Square footage is key
The point of a marquee wedding is to provide a covered space for you and your guest to eat and party. So, the COMMONSENCE and cost effective thing to do would be to rent a tent that’s big enough to fit your dining area, dance floor, bars and food. It is absolutely INSANE to have a fully kitted out tent only to have your guest walk into the rain/mud to go get their food.

NO PAVED AREAS = ONE MUDDY MESS

Is there a paved level area at your chosen location?
Decking is great if your budget allows for it. But what do you do if it doesn’t?
COMMONSENCE being king……don’t choose a location where no paved areas will equal muddy shoes for you and your guest. The last thing you need is to be “DECKED OUT” for the skies to open up and you find your Manola’s looking like this.

DIY Bride... How to Make Your Own Birdcage Veil

Instructions
things you'll need:
1 yard white Russian netting or Tulle
White silk flower
White feathers
Hair comb
Glue
White thread
Sewing needle
Scissors

Lay the Russian netting out on a flat work surface. Cut the netting into an 18-by-18-inch square.

Measure 10 inches from the top of the netting on both sides. Use the scissors to make a 6-inch diagonal incision from the 10-inch mark to the bottom of the netting. This should create a tapered look at the bottom of the netting.

Sew a running stitch through the bottom of the netting. Pull the thread taut so that the bottom of the netting is gathered together tightly.

Cut off the stem of the white silk flower. Use the glue to adhere the hair comb onto the bottom of the silk flower. Glue the white feathers onto the bottom of the silk flower next to the hair comb. Allow the glue to dry thoroughly before proceeding.

Sew the hair comb onto the Russian netting where the running stitch is gathered. Gently tug at the netting to ensure it is secured firmly to the hair comb.

Insert the hair comb into your hair on the left side of your head toward your crown. Pull the veil over your face
